Francesca Owens can call Grant Ranch Colorado her home base. The bigger picture shows her literally soaring around the globe propelled by exuberant energy, a passionate interest in tiger conservation and an uncanny ability to market her many talents. She is currently a featured artist for the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation’s www.savethetigerfund.org home page. One piece from her “Breath of Italy-My Heritage” collection will be displayed at the Littleton Historical Museum as the Arts Alliance Featured Artist of the Month. She spends time in Italy to paint each year and will expand to do a workshop in Austria this summer. All of this in just a three-year starting point as an emerging artist!

A few recent and upcoming examples of her activities are:
*A three-person show in the golden triangle behind DAM in January 2006 *A solo show in Cortona, Italy in June 2006 *Recently appointed to an elite group of Worldwide Nature Artist Group, WNAG in Canada. Click under artist to find her there! http://www.natureartists.com

Francesca’s message to fellow AAL members is:
“I believe artists need to group together to help each other. Hussle, hussle, hussle is the one way to survive in this crazy field. Support from fellow artists, family and your own groupies are absolutely needed. Take every risk you can, de-personalize any rejection, and continue to look for new opportunities, these are my guiding principles.”
